Dear Christian, Don't Waste it

Are you wasting your life?

The average person has 27,375 days on Earth, and billions are throwing them away in the pleasures of this world. Even Christians are consumed with making themselves look good, feel good, and avoid as much pain and discomfort as possible, and I confess, have been one of them.

The martyr, Nate Saint, wrote “I would rather die now than live a life of oblivious ease in so sick a world," and I can't help but be incredibly ashamed that our American values are the complete opposite.*

Friends, are we spending our days investing in lesisure rather than eternity?

I have listened to the video below multiple times and it is a seriously convicting and challenging message, but I could not recommend more.

You have one life to live.

Don't waste it.

*I am not suggesting that we all leave our homes to be missionaries overseas and that you can't do hard Kingdom work here, for I believe the roles of mothers, fathers, and churches are essential to each community to raising believers in the Lord because we need missionaries in America too. But we would all do well to be aware and fight against our desires for comfort and ease in impacting this world for God's Kingdom!
